On The Feedback

This is perhaps tad too late, written on my last day of the peer feedback but it won’t hurt to share.

  1. Please keep your feedback specific to instance. While your feedback will go in one of the competency bucket, it should never be commentary on the ‘competency’ . As in movies let the audience come to the conclusion!
  2. Try not to use superlative (unless someone is winning a noble) . Use the quantifiers to describe the effect. ( Best -> 0.1 percentile, huge -> $1B, most -> 90%)
  3. Follow S.T.A.R. Situation/Task/Action/Result or variation of it. Each feedback should result at least three questions ( Context? , What-change/work/action, Impact?)
  4. Keep it short.
